Xenophobe (EP)
''Xenophobe/Fear Itself'' is the fourth EP by the American metalcore band, Zao. It is the first release since the band's five-year unofficial hiatus.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Zao release new 7", first new music since 2009 )〕 It is the first EP to feature Scott Mellinger, Martin Lunn and Jeff Gretz.

Micah Nahum Ferguson of Sputnik Music writes: "Zao's passion is still alive (as the Greek translation of their name denotes). The quality of their songwriting has increased after the somewhat average performance showcased on Awake? but it feels fresh and a slight departure from the classics they had pumped out in the past. Zao may need to establish their foothold in the scene again, but they could take it by storm once again if they keep this going. If this short work proves anything, it's that Zao has been putting lots of time and care into keeping their engines running. It's good to see that fire again."〔 Andrew Bonazelli of Decibel Magazine says: "According to frontman Dan Weyandt, "Lyrically, 'Xenophobe' is about specific outlets of mass media using tried and true propaganda techniques to create division, radicalism and fear in the average American citizen's mind.
